ASSISTANT MANAGER SALES AND MARKETING

Christians Alliance, a Non-profit 501-C-3 faith-based organization, seeks an Assistant Manager of Sales & Marketing for our India Missionary Program.  The Assistant Manager of Sales & Marketing will provide leadership and coordination of the company’s sales and marketing strategies.  The position is located in Connecticut, USA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish Office and Warehouse

  • Product Line Research and Development

    • Recruit and manage select jewelry consultant to design product line

    • Test market prototype designs online, at Christian conventions and craft shows, at kiosk locations (within churches), at virtual/actual house parties, and in social media

    • Establish a prototype production method for India Production Manager

  • Product Production

    • Coordinate with India production for product type and quantity

    • Quality control of India production

    • Creating training materials for artisans

  • Marketing

    • Implement Sales and Marketing Director’s Marketing Plan

        • Social Media networks

        • Dedicated website

      • Kiosk locations (within churches)

      • Christian conventions and craft show

      • virtual/actual house parties

    • Recruit and train a 10-person Christian convention sales team

    • Attend Christian conferences and craft shows

    • Recruit virtual/actual house party team members

    • Manage

      • Online sales

      • Social Media network marketing

      • Kiosk locations (within churches)

      • Virtual/Actual house party sales

      • Christian conventions and craft show

      • Customer service

    • Create monthly executive summary reports

    • Support sales team and Sales and Marketing Director

    • Preparing weekly reports from Apptivo CRM online software.

    • Learn Apptivo online CRM

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Passionate for serving the Lord through foreign missions

  • Started, owned, or managed retail business consisting of lower-priced (less than $40) products, including online sales.

  • Started, owned, or managed an event planning business

  • Recruited and trained a sales team

  • Support and coordinate a network of marketing sales team members

  • Inside sales utilizing CRM software

  • Have a track record of working unsupervised

  • Work at or owned a startup company

  • Worked for an employer for a minimum of 5 years

  • Excellent computer skills (must pass online testing) with advanced abilities in Excel and Word

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
